Meet Our Team

Welcome!  And let me introduce myself – my name is Mike Young and I am the Senior Pastor & Elder at Newhall Christian Fellowship.  I was born and raised in southeast Grand Rapids, graduating from Central High School. I served 4 years in the USMC in the early eighties before working in the tool and die industry as both Journeyman and Plant Manager. I was ordained in 2004, and moved to Grandville with my wife Janette. We have been married since 1989.  We have a daughter, Melony, and 2 grandkids, Mason & Emerson.  Since being Born Again, I am no longer an alcoholic-atheist. My passion now is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
